You can find family-owned restaurants that offers a wide range of dishes with ingredients that are all locally sourced, but also from Keros and Naxos.

Other nice restaurants on Pori beach, with delicious, different Greek foods in a relaxed, chilled atmosphere. Definitely on the pricey side but probably worth it if you are a foodie! Highly recommended!

The tiny island of Koufonisia Cyclades combines natural beauty, amazing beaches, and wild landscape. This is the supreme destination for people who are looking to truly relax during their vacations. There is not much to do for sightseeing in Koufonisia, except swimming in the crystal waters and hiking. Many visitors also rent bicycles to get around the island as there is no bus or other public transport. Many beaches in Koufonisia, such as Fanos and Pori, are naturist beaches. Chora is the main and only village on this island, that is frequently visited for a day trip from Naxos or Amorgos.

Ancient Ruins of Koufonisia: The only archaeological site in Kato Koufonisi is some ruins of an ancient temple. Today, a small church dedicated to Virgin Mary is built on top of the ruins facing the sea. The date of the temple’s construction is unknown. Nowadays, Kato Koufonisi is uninhabited and can be visited only for a day boat trip from Ano Koufonissi.
